Collaborated with peers to create a topic, brand and style guide

• Decided on a coffee themed publication called Bar Nine with 5 issues, each containing a feature article dedicated to highlighting local coffee shops in a different Atlanta neighborhood 

• Bar Nine branding and style guidelines were created with the collaboration of our 5 team members along with a list of departments to be included in each issue

Independently sourced content for my magazine’s department issues and feature neighborhood, “Little 5 Points”

• Researched and visited coffee shops to be featured in my cover story, captured original photography, and wrote copy as well as sourcing and citing online articles

Organized content and created magazine spreads in accordance to print specifications

• Created a logical order for departments following a table of contents

• Designed spreads to best reflect the copy and created unique illustrations throughout the issue

• Sourced a printer
